About the project

Building what
doesn't exist yet.

Advanced veterinary care infrastructure — specialty hospitals, clinical standards, training systems — does not exist in India. It is being built from zero. VIPER is the founding team at the centre of it.

Vision

Advanced care infrastructure,
built from first principles

India has a large and growing pet-owning population — but virtually no advanced veterinary care infrastructure to match. No specialist referral hospitals. No established training pathways for specialists or nurses. No regional standard of care for complex disease.

VIPER is the founding team of specialists and nurses at the centre of every decision — the hospitals, the clinical protocols, the training systems, the professional structures — all being built around them.

The gap

What doesn't exist
in India today

This isn't a market with patchy services. It's a market where advanced care essentially doesn't exist at all — which means everything you build is the first version of its kind.

  • No established veterinary specialist referral hospitals
  • No regional standards of care for complex or critical disease
  • No specialist training pathways or post-graduate clinical infrastructure
  • Advanced diagnostics — MRI, CT, echo — largely inaccessible outside metro centres
  • ICU and critical care services at general practice level only
  • Define the standard of care with no legacy constraints
  • Build specialist services that have never existed in the region
  • Shape hospital infrastructure from layout to equipment
  • Establish professional frameworks that will outlast you
  • Influence how an entire generation of vets and nurses practises
The opportunity

A clean slate to
build it right

Starting from zero means you're not retrofitting standards into broken systems or inheriting someone else's compromises. You get to decide what good looks like — and build the infrastructure to make it real.

Founding structure

A small group.
Real authority.

VIPER is assembling a founding group of clinical specialists and veterinary nurses — one or more per discipline — alongside a core operational and infrastructure team. Each founding member has a co-founder seat: equity, governance rights, and full decision-making authority over their specialty. This is not an advisory board. It is the founding team.

Your place in this

Specialists and nurses
at the centre, not the edge

In most hospital systems, specialists and nurses are brought in after the infrastructure is built — asked to fit their practice into a space that wasn't designed with them in mind. VIPER is built the other way around. The clinical team defines the service first. Infrastructure, staffing, and operations follow from that.

  • Specialists and nurses define clinical standards — hospitals are built around them
  • Equipment and infrastructure chosen with clinical input
  • Staffing models designed around clinical service requirements
  • Referral networks and service structures shaped by the founding team
  • Training programmes informed by what the bedside needs
  • Co-founder equity stake in the venture
  • Competitive salary aligned with senior specialist roles
  • Full relocation support including visa sponsorship
  • Accommodation and living expenses covered
  • Flexible engagement — schedule managed by you
  • Health insurance and benefits package
Compensation

Equity, salary,
and genuine flexibility

This is a co-founder role with equity and a competitive salary — not a consulting contract or a visiting position. We cover the logistics of making the move so you can focus on building the service.
